I felt that the stock air box was to restrictive so this is what I came up with.
First of all I added a PVC pipe to the front valance under the bumper. I used a 3.5 inch Hole saw to drill a hole and put the pipe in and marked it and cut on the line with a Jigsaw.( refer to picture 1)
Cold air starts here !
As you can see the air is picked up here and goes thru the pipe to the air box.

Here you can see how I ran the pipe under the fender up to the air box. There is no problem with tire clearance. It looks close but there is plenty of room.
